Meeting Format & Agenda

FACC Men's Fellowship Group weekly meetings and agenda are patterned after the 4Ws of Dr. Joel Comiskey, an internationally recognized cell group and cell church consultant.  The focus of the meeting is always on our Lord Jesus Christ.  They are as follows:

1.  WELCOME

The "Welcome" time is when the members experience one another through exchanges of pleasantries, jokes and open sharing of each other's personal lives.  True to cultural tradition,  light snacks are provided while people talk about their families,  work experiences or sports hobbies.

2.  WORSHIP

It is through Worship time that the members enter the presence of God and approach Him to receive His fulness. Lasting no longer than 20 minutes,  it is during this time that the members go beyond socializing.  Worship is attained through songs, followed by prayers or reading a verse in the Bible.

3.  WORD

The Word time is devoted to assigned or invited speakers to share God's word from the Bible, focusing on fulfilling His mission for each and everyone of His people.  This is also the time that God speaks to the whole group in order for them to recognize their needs. This portion of the meeting lasts no longer than 30 minutes.

4.  WORKS

The Works time is sometimes called Witness time because its focus is on "others."  This is also the time when the society members promote or plan a social outreach project to meet the needs of those inside or outside the group. Examples of outreach projects are:  visiting the sick in hospitals,  ministering to senior citizens in retirement homes, supporting missions overseas, etc.
